How to train for free as a HGV driver

17 August 2022

There is a chronic shortage of drivers in the UK. HGV driving offers a job for life that is secure in even the most difficult economic climate

The Road Haulage Association stated approximately 2000 drivers are retiring every week from the career and only 50% of this number are signing up for work and training.

On top of the Brexit related driver shortage, the UK is short of HGV/LGV drivers. The Government has introduced a number of measures to help.

How do you get free training?
